What Trade Collective sets in your browser, what we send to advertising platforms, and how to stop it.
What we use
- Strictly necessary. Sign-in and session cookies, set by our authentication provider. Without these you cannot stay logged in. They cannot be switched off.
- Advertising and measurement. The Meta pixel, which records that you visited a page or completed an action such as registering, so we can measure which adverts work and show relevant ones. This is the only non-essential tracking we run.
What we send to Meta
Alongside the browser pixel we send some events directly from our server, so measurement still works when a browser blocks scripts. What goes across is the event itself — a registration, a purchase — together with identifiers such as a hashed email address used to match the event to an account. Email addresses are hashed before they are sent and are never transmitted in the clear.
We do not send Meta anything about your trading — not your positions, not your balance, not your results.
How to stop it
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you being able to log in.
- Use your browser's tracking protection, or an ad blocker. We do not attempt to work around either.
- Adjust what Meta shows you in the ad preferences of your Facebook or Instagram account.
