Terms of Use
The agreement between you and Trade Collective when you use this site or hold an account.
Who these terms are with
2GS TRADING (PTY) LTD (registration TODO — CIPC registration number), trading as Trade Collective. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not create one.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- Give accurate details, and keep them current.
- The account is yours alone. Do not share your login, and tell us if you think someone else has it.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
What we provide
Educational material, a members' community, live sessions, and — where you link a funded broker account — a trading journal and leaderboard built from data your broker reports to us.
The courses are free and are behind a login only. They are never behind a deposit, and you are never required to fund a broker account to learn here.
What we do not provide
Financial advice, trading signals, portfolio management, or any guarantee of a result. See our Risk Disclosure, which forms part of these terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Redistribute, resell or republish our course material. It is licensed to you personally and remains ours.
- Give trading advice to other members, or present yourself as doing so.
- Sell, promote or solicit anything in the community without our written agreement.
- Harass anyone, or post anything unlawful.
- Manipulate the tiers, tickets, leaderboard or giveaways — including by trading volume purely to move up them.
- Attempt to break, probe or overload the service.
Tiers, tickets and giveaways
Tiers and tickets are earned on traded volume and reward activity, not profit. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and we may change or withdraw them. Giveaways carry their own terms and are subject to our partner broker's approval.
Ending it
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will normally tell you why.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including under the Consumer Protection Act.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified, and the date above will change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
